Strategic Assessment

Integral to an effective planning process is a clear understanding of a club’s current market position and its performance. This scope of work delivers the “Where are we Now?” element of our typical four step planning process.
Interrogating our Benchmarking database, the strategic assessment takes a ‘deep dive’ into the club’s operating results, assessing the club’s performance to discover both its strengths and internal areas of opportunity.
To set the scene, current market demand and profitability trends are first presented.
Applying relevant filters and selecting an appropriate peer set, subject to any pre-identified, desired areas of focus, we then:

Assess multi-year trends in key performance indicators (20 metrics)

Highlight trends in the Club's key leavers
Assess current outcomes achieved within:-
membership, golf operations, food & beverage, course expenditure, administration, labour management (70+ metrics)

Identify key opportunities in each area assessed, including potential revenue upside and expense saving opportunities.

Illustrate the future path to capital delivery

Our assessment, delivered via 2-hour in person presentation will conclude with a clear set of key findings and implications for the Committee and Management to consider in its future planning and capital initiatives.
